Go Somewhere Sunny With Your Baby! {Tips & Tricks}

Whether you are headed to somewhere exotic or just spending time outdoors in the much welcomed summery weather, bring your baby along! Here are some great tips & tricks to make it a good trip for all.

Invest in a lightweight  stroller-I am a huge fan of the infant carrier + Snap ‘N Go, but those carriers just bread heat. Instead opt for an umbrella stroller that reclines and is easy to travel with . We really liked the Summer Infant 3D Lite Stroller we got from Babies R Us. It reclined enough even for our four month old.

Definitely ditch the thick blankets and go for the airy, lightweight ones from Aden + Anais. Whether breastfeeding poolside or covering your little one from the sun, these are bar none.

Don’t forget to keep your baby hydrated and keep his or her bottle on the cool side!

I adore the bottle bags from Vera Bradley. I simply put a small ice-pack inside to keep it cool and voila!

A girlfriend got mine for me from Buy Buy Baby. I highly recommend!
And I have always been a fan of baby sunglasses…

You can find them all over Amazon!
And don’t forget a cute baby hat. I suggest getting a few since babies are picky about these sorts of things ;).

Again, take your pick on Amazon, Buy Buy Baby, or Babies R Us.

Take your baby for a dip! (Test the water first of course)

We love the reusable swim diapers from  i play that come in all different sizes. We got ours on Amazon , but they have a great website with all sorts of swim offerings you should check out. My husband likes my baby to wear them like a speedo ;)!

You can even take your baby on the boat! Just be sure your baby is over four months and that you have an infant life vest on him or her at all times and that you check the weight requirements. (There are different kinds for under 30lbs)  We got a Stearns Infant Classic Boating Vest. Our baby is not a fan, but he’s safe.

When in doubt cozy up under the shade with a nice cold coconut…

Now go have fun already!
