Brita “Bree” Schumacher is a lifelong entrepreneur. She turned a $500 loan into a seven-figure business, adding her to the elite list of only 2% of women who own businesses with over $1
million in revenues. Her former business, a community-based Spanish school, educated
thousands of children and flourished for nearly two decades before she successfully sold it in the summer of 2020. As the winner of the Hottest Kitchen Entrepreneur Contest, Bree also conceptualized, started, cultivated and sold a successful food business in less than twelve
months. While running the language school and building her organic sauce line, Bree was also developing original recipes and cooking several segments on a popular morning show under her signature brand, Skinny Mommy. Prior to working full time as an entrepreneur, she studied Intercultural Communications and Spanish and worked in the international business sector for
prominent U.S. corporations, covering Latin America and the Caribbean. Additionally, Bree lived and worked in Seoul, South Korea. As an international expert, bilingual professional and seasoned entrepreneur, Brita was a highlighted alumnae of Mount Mary University, a featured speaker for “How to uncover your passion”, and a keynote speaker for Lake Country Currents on the topic of “How to grow a 7 figure business.”
